Overview
Pick up your RV in Denver and head north into Wyoming. Your first stop takes you to Guernsey State Park, where you can explore the “ruts” on the historic Oregon Trail. Continue your trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota, which is home to the faces of Mount Rushmore, the work-in-progress Crazy Horse Memorial, the caverns of Wind Cave National Park and Jewel Cave National Monument, the wildlife and adventure-filled Custer State Park, and the otherworldly Badlands National Park. Head back into Wyoming to America’s first national monument, Devils Tower, to marvel at its columns rising 1,267 feet above you, before traveling back south to Cheyenne for one last taste of Wyoming’s western history. Return to Denver to drop off your RV and fly home.
