Overview

Fly into Portland to begin your Oregon vacation, and explore the many bookstores, parks, breweries and food trucks. Travel just outside of town to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, where you’ll encounter roaring waterfalls and breathtaking views at every turn. Head south to Bend where you can float the Deschutes River, take a brewery tour, and climb, bike or hike at Smith Rock State Park. As you head West, you’ll follow the McKenzie River and explore the hot springs, blue pools, and fairyland hikes that make up this portion of the Willamette National Forest. Continue west through Eugene and drive the gorgeous stretch of beach along the Northern Coast before heading back to Portland.

Portland - 1 night

Fly into Portland and explore why this city’s motto is “Keep Portland Weird”. Wander through bookstores and parks, sip at coffeehouses and breweries, and get your fix at one of the many food trucks.

Here you’ll find some of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the country. This area is known for both its immense beauty, as well as its outdoor activities. You may even try your hand at windsurfing.

Bend - 2 nights

Head to the east side of the Cascades for some sunshine, river floating, and microbreweries. Explore nearby Smith Rock State Park for world-class mountain climbing, biking, and hiking.

Hike to the pristine waters of the Tamolitch Blue Pool, soak in the many hot springs, and stand beneath magnificent waterfalls.

Northern Coast - 2 nights

Some will say this is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the mainland US. You’ll take in the breathtaking views, play on sandy beaches, and wander picture-perfect coastal towns.

Return to Portland to drop off your RV and catch an evening flight home.
