Bend RV Vacation

Smith Rock State Park Bend Oregon RV Trip

About Bend, Oregon

While we often think of Oregon as wet and overcast (albeit green), you may be interested to learn that because Bend is located on the eastern side of the Cascade range, it offers around 300 days of sunshine a year. You’ll love the change of scenery as you make the 3-hour drive from Portland through forests and foliage to dry, dramatic and craggy. This small town boasts big adventure and tons of breweries. Located conveniently on the edge of the Cascades, with the Deschutes River running right through it, Bend is not only beautiful but provides outdoor activities year-round, including over 300 miles of mountain biking trails, 71 parks, thousands of climbing routes and 3,600 acres of skiing and snowboarding.
