Yellowstone National Park RV Vacation

About Yellowstone National Park, WY / MT / ID

America’s first national park, dating back to 1872, covers 2 million acres and is the world’s largest concentration of geysers and thermal features. You are probably familiar with the iconic images, like Old Faithful, Lower Falls and Yosemite Lake, but seeing them in person is a humbling experience. Hike the many trails to discover bubbling mudpots and waterfalls, and be prepared to see some exceptional wildlife, like bison, elk, and bears. Because of its size and the many attractions, we love hiring our favorite tour guide to take us around the park and show us the must-sees and the not so well known spots.

Best time to visit:

April to May and September to October

Highlights

  • Watch Old Faithful erupt at sunrise

  • Hike the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

  • View the Grand Prismatic Spring from above to see the array of colors
