About Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

The Teton Range, rising above pristine lakes, mountain meadows and extraordinary wildlife, is what led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park. Here you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, look for wildlife like bison, moose and bears, and try your hand at some new outdoor activities. Each season brings something special, from the wildlife migration in the spring to cross-country skiing in the snow-covered winter. Because of its proximity to Yellowstone and Jackson, we highly recommend combining these three locations.

Best time to visit:

May - September if you’d like a full range of activities, but winter also has its perks

Highlights

  • Canoe the pristine waters of Jenny Lake

  • Fly fish or raft the Snake River

  • Bike to the famous Mormon Row and the Moulton Barns
