San Francisco RV Vacation

About San Francisco, California

Maybe we’re biased because we’ve all called San Francisco home, but this is one of our favorite cities. From the tourist spots like Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf, to the trendy neighborhoods like the Mission District, San Francisco has it all. Even the fog is charming! San Francisco boasts amazing food and drinks, concerts and events year-round, and a huge plot of green smack dab in the middle of concrete. You can wander from neighborhood to neighborhood and get a little something different at each turn. We highly recommend ditching the car and exploring the city on foot (just be prepared for an abundance of hills!) or electric bikes, which can be rented around the city. 

Best time to visit:

March through May and September through November (oddly enough, the summers tend to be foggy and chilly)

Highlights

• Drive or walk across the Golden Gate Bridge

• Grab some ice cream and drinks for a lazy day at Dolores Park 

• Get lost in Golden Gate Park
