Arches National Park RV Vacation
About Arches National Park, Utah
Arches National Park, located just 5 miles north of Moab, Utah, is the world’s largest concentration of natural sandstone arches. With more than 2,000 natural arches, there’s a lifetime worth of views in this park. Along with the arches, there are gigantic balanced rocks, humongous fins and spires, and pinnacles watching over the park. One of our favorite aspects of this park is the access it provides to the visitors. The paved roads and well-groomed paths make it easy to view the park’s best features and sites. If you’re looking for longer hikes don’t worry, there are plenty of those too!
Best time to visit:
Late-March through May and mid-September through mid-November
Highlights
Hike to the iconic Delicate Arch, the largest free-standing arch in the park
Stand under the longest arch, Landscape Arch, which stretches longer than football field
Drive the Arches Scenic Drive to see spectacular arches and balancing rocks
