Capitol Reef National Park RV Vacation
About Capitol Reef National Park, Utah
Capitol Reef is truly a geological wonder - a long, 100-mile, wrinkle in the earth located in Utah’s south-central desert. With grand arches, amazing spires, and white sandstone domes, this park is absolutely spectacular. The Fremont river runs right through the middle of it, creating a valley of green and orchards amongst the red rock. We are huge fans of Capitol Reef because of its density of activities -- they seem to be endless. Visiting this park via RV is essential so that you can enjoy everything this place has to offer. And because it is one of the less-visited parks in Utah, you’ll be able to see everything you want to see!
Best time to visit:
Late-March through May and mid-September through mid-November
